Feels Like Summer!

Today (Sunday) was in the mid 80's!!! So all the kids in the neighborhood played on the slip and slide. (Wouldn't ya know...someone popped it within the first 5 minutes! Not one of my kids though...thank goodness!) Beth was really good at it!
Hannah was really the best slider on the block! She was the kid who made it from the beginning of the yellow "runway" to the splash pool at the end the most times!

Hailey didn't like it too much at all! She's slip and it would be so cute that everyone would laugh...she'd get embarrassed and hide...we had to beg her to try again so that we could get a picture. We bribed her with the promise of something chocolatey!

I think this is going to be one of Beth's favorite summer-time pastimes!

Hailey went through the sprinkler while her big sister's cleaned thier rooms'! She is such a poor cleaner that she always lucks out, and gets called off of the cleaning duty. (It seems like the more time she spends in her room "cleaning" it, the messier it becomes!)

See how brave she is (said with my tongue in my cheek!)!!! She was much too afraid to actually run through the center of it...but she was more than comfortble to let it get a few drops on her legs.

HAPPY EASTER!!!!

The anticipation is killing them...but mom needed new batteries for the camera and they had to wait....
The Hunt is on! And Beth looks like the first to find a prize.
Banana wasn't far behind (after some not-to-subtle hints).
Hailey took the longest...and pretty much had to be shown where her basket was. Boy, did she feel silly after having walked past it about 10 times!

Uh oh. It looks like Hannah thinks something is missing? That's a classic "I'm not SATISFIED!" look for Hannah. 

Hailey finds an egg.
Beth finds a very obvious egg...one that was probably meant for someone a bit younger...
Hannah looks as though she's already been hitting the ale. It's not even noon yet Hannah!
Who gets the egg? Well...Hailey looks the sneakiest. Beth looks slightly bored and Banana may be suffering from dementia (she looks a little scared of the egg). 

Beth and Hannah are decorating Easter eggs. They are both "in the know" about the whole bunny thing, so they get to decorate the eggs and little Hailey gets to find them tomorrow morning. The big girls are even going to do all the hiding of the eggs. They love their jobs!
Banana actually ended up dropping (and cracking) more eggs than she decorated. Then she felt so bad that she cried and cried. But the consolation prize was that she got to eat some egg early.

Yeah. Their hands are stained like that. It won't come off. Oh well. 

Beth has a retainer now. She may need braces in a few months, but we're hoping the retainer will do the job without the braces. It sure would be cheaper. She's also a little swollen because she had two teeth removed.
I had my wisdom teeth pulled (and one more...a primary molar) and my face is extremely swollen. I sound and look kinda like Marlan Brando...but Greg really likes the Godfather, so it's okay.
Beth likes to get kisses from Porter.
And he's more than happy to kiss anytime she feels like letting him.
