I told Hailey I wanted to take a picture of her and her sisters together. Hannah and Beth promptly started brushing their hair and practicing smiles and poses. Hailey disappeared into the bathroom for 15 minutes and came out looking like THIS! (I'm not sure she knew that she looked like Frankenstein's monster.) She was SO mad when I took that headband off her head, and claimed that I messed her hair up!
All the primping paid off!
And then we had some fun.

SNOW DAY!!!

Well...as you can see...it snowed 1 inch and the schools all closed for the DAY! So the girls took advantage of the great weather and played and played.
Beth pulled and pulled the girls. The sled didn't slide very easily because of the small amount of snow.

Soon all the kids fell over...don't know why.

Bethany shoveled all the neighbor's sidewalks for them.
Hannah took Porter for a walk. He alternately loves and hates the snow/cold.
Hailey made snow balls...which I immediately forbid her to throw at her sisters...she aims for the eyes!
